A few old friends decided to head to London’s oldest food market yesterday, and I thoroughly loved every moment of it! The market has been around in one form or another since the 13th century and now houses fresh fruit and vegetables, organic meat, home grown honey, homemade bread, sausage sizzles, the most delicious fresh chocolate brownies and a mean paella (which of course I tucked into). Be aware that there are long queues for Monmouth Coffee, the Spanish deli Brindisa and also the butcher Ginger Pig (which has another high street outlet in Marylebone). Borough Market is definitely worth a visit if you like good food.
