Well I’m sure that you’ve all heard about the ‘big freeze’ in Britain. The news here is stating that the temperatures are as cold as Antarctica. Well maybe further up north in Scotland, but I still think it’s an exaggeration. Yes, it’s colder than usual. Yes, there is more snow and ice. Yes, the public transport system is not coping (don’t they get cold weather every year?). Yes, workers are taking ‘snow days’ and not coming into work. Yes, you have to wear a few more layers when you step out. But Antarctica? London is really not that bad. Come on Britons, harden up a little.
